Our SPF 30 works by forming a protective physical barrier on the skin's surface using non-nano zinc oxide, which helps prevent UVA and UVB rays from penetrating 😎.

3. How effective is SPF 30? What is the difference between SPF 30 and SPF 50?

SPF 30 provides high-level protection and blocks approximately 97% of UV rays from reaching your skin, while SPF 50 blocks around 98%. 

The difference between SPF 30 and SPF 50 is not as significant as it may seem; the increase in the sun protection factor offers slightly higher protection. Reapplying it regularly is what keeps your skin safe!

6. How to use Viva Vibe? How much to apply?

Use it as the last step in your skincare routine, ensuring your skin is well moisturised before applying. Make sure to generously cover all exposed skin. It is recommended to apply half a teaspoon to the face. Remember to extend the application to the ears and neck.

Use 15 minutes before going outside, and reapply every 2 hours for maximum protection, especially when sweating or swimming.

However, in our tests, we observed that this effect diminished or disappeared once the product was fully absorbed into the skin.

14. Can I use Viva Vibe on babies and children?

15. Can I use it with makeup?
Absolutely! Our sunscreen is makeup-compatible. We suggest allowing Viva Vibe to absorb for 5 minutes before applying makeup, this provides a smooth base for your makeup application.

16. Can this be applied around the eyes?
It is safe for use on the skin around the eyes, avoiding direct contact with the eye. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean, cool water to remove the sunscreen.

17. What does SPF mean? And What is the difference between PA Rating and SPF?
SPF means sun protection factor and it measures UVB protection. The number tells you how long the sun’s UVB rays would take to redden your skin if you apply the sunscreen exactly as directed compared with the amount of time without sunscreen. So, if you use an SPF 30 product properly, it would take you 30 times longer to burn than if don’t use sunscreen.

While the PA rating measures UVA protection. Our sunscreen protects against both UV rays. 

18. Is Viva Vibe waterproof?

No. We recommend reapplying Viva Vibe sunscreen after swimming or exposure to water.

19. How soon before sun exposure should it be applied?

Apply a generous layer of sunscreen 15 minutes before going outside.

20. When does the product expire?

Viva Vibe stays fresh for up to 6 months after you open it. During this time, it maintains its effectiveness and stability. It's important to use it before it expires to make sure you're fully protected from the sun.

It lasts varies based on how much and how often you use it.

22. Is Viva Vibe reef-safe?
We care about your health and the environment. That's why we developed a natural and reef-safe SPF. It doesn't contain harmful chemicals like oxybenzone and octinoxate, which are known to contribute to coral bleaching and other damage to marine ecosystems 🐳.

23. What does Viva Vibe smell like?

To ensure Viva Vibe is suitable for even the most sensitive of skin, the formulation is completely fragrance free. For those with very sensitive noses, they might pick up on a very slight metallic smell, this is completely normal due to the minerals, such as zinc oxide, that the product contains.
